Run! Run!How many of you have seen a young ball player hit the ball and take off running?  Has anyone ever seen the player run from HOME to THIRD? How about from HOME to SECOND? Most likely not, but if it did happen…at first it would be cute.  What would happen to the game if everyone started making up their own rules however they want no matter what the other team wanted? Pretty soon there could be some problems. When baseball was invented, the guidelines were given to keep it safe, fun and orderly. King David wrote in Psalm 143:10…May your good spirit lead me…God intends for our lives to work. Yet He does not want us to do whatever we want, however we want, whenever we want. Just like the batter runs to first, then second…God leads us by His Spirit according to what His Word has to say. These are God’s guidelines that were given to help us live our lives. 

Dear Lord, Help us to learn what your Word has to say and to let your Spirit lead us how to live our lives. Please bless each player and family here for your glory. Amen! God bless, Lee
