Light! What are some things that light does for us? What would happen if we had no light? Light brings so much benefit. Have you ever seen the first glimmers of light streak across the sky during the sunrise? Or have you seen the last streaks of orange light spread around the earth at the sunset? Have you ever seen a plant or flower grow when the sunlight shines on it? Have you ever been in the dark woods and needed a flashlight? Light brings beauty, protection, inspiration and growth. We have been talking this year so far about growing. Jesus said… "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12 A relationship with Jesus will give us the most inspiration, growth and protection. He will make something beautiful out of our lives. The choice is ours. Come near the Light of the World. Get to know Christ through His word and prayer. Ask Him today to shine His light in our lives and families. Dear Jesus, please shine your light into our hearts and families. Help us to see what you want us to see. Help us to grow in ways that will show your beauty in our homes and hearts. In Jesus name, Amen!God bless! Lee |
