Fertilizer!   These days we fertilize just about everything. What kind of things do we put fertilizer in/on? What does fertilizer do?

Back in the day…a long time ago…most yards were sort of green and in the heat of summer they turned brown. Now…If your grass turns brown you are going to stand out and your neighbors may be giving you the evil eye. It seems we fertilize everything. We like things growing and healthy. It makes our hearts glad when the things we are in charge of are doing well.

God says that we should be that way with each other. Hebrews 10:24 says…Let consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds.

I know this sounds kind of crazy…but God wants us to fertilizer each other. Say the right thing…stop holding back. Do the right thing…don’t wait. The things that we say and do will help others and it will make our hearts glad as well. Besides God’s heart will be overjoyed when he sees us encouraging each other. Use some fertilizer this week in your home.

Lord, I pray that you will help each of us do and say the right things this week. Help us to use some people fertilizer this week in our homes. May your good Spirit bring the blessing to our homes. In Jesus name, Amen! God bless, Lee
